The book I am writing is based on a three year period when I spent a lot of time in Sierra Leone. Nothing is entirely invented, except for the characters, and I am having a great time following their progress in this fascinating country. There are tricky subjects like FGM, Voodoo and Rebel violence included which I have tried to weave into an interesting tale.
