Gwen asked Michael Stolle:

Why are your books unavailable at libraries or bookstores?

Michael Stolle Dear Gwen,

Thanks for your question!

I'd love to see by books in a bookstore but bookstores and libraries only buy books promoted by the big publishers. Publishers only publish if you find the right agent and agents are telling new authors that they're far too busy and too important to spend time reading new books by unknown authors. I found this so frustrating that I simply stopped soliciting them and concentrate with the help of Amazon publishing on what I like best... writing stories.

Since I started publishing I reached more than 50.000 readers and find this very encouraging. Thanks to goodreads I can communicate with my readers. Many readers like my books, some love them, some hate them. That's life but as long as the majority tells me to go on - I do.
Cheers,

Michael
