Goodreads asked David Lassman:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

David Lassman Thankfully I rarely suffer from writer's block, as most of my books - both fiction and non-fiction - are normally well planned in advance, so I know each day what I should be working on and that in itself gives momentum to my writing. If I do feel blocked over my writing for any reason though, perhaps a plot turn or an engaging opening sentence for a chapter, then I usually go for a walk or do a domestic chore, like washing-up or hovering, and this normally works.
