Goodreads asked Trisha North:

How do you get inspired to write?

Trisha North I was a very shy, sheltered, and deeply introverted child. Which I now greatly attribute to familial trauma and autism. I had a lot of emotions and energy but I didn't really know where and how to channel it when I was much younger. It wasn't until I found the creative arts in elementary school that my voice grew stronger. I am greatly inspired by everything. I am a people watcher. I am a daydreamer. I am often drawn to nature. I enjoy shifts in the weather. There are so many stories within every moment. It is hard to pinpoint one source of inspiration. I can tell you, that one of my biggest motivators is to be the voice for the voiceless. And I hope that my works do just that.
