mkmk asked Bradley Horner:

How do you decide which books are worth your time? As in, which books to put onto your "to-read" shelf? (because to me all books sound good and I don't want to miss out)

Bradley Horner I first look out for the super-imaginative works. This is purely subjective, but because I read so much, I do tend to see a lot of repeating trends. Anything that smacks of totally awesome gets my ruff up. Anything that is well-written comes in a close second, and I can usually tell by GR ratings and the quality of reviews.

But what really floats my boat is the convergence of the two. Well-written and super-imaginative. That's the glory ticket right there.
