What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

McCallum J. Morgan Never Ever Ever Give Up. Even if you leave projects unfinished and always move on to another, keep at it. One day one of those projects will mean more than any of the others ever did, or something will just be "right," and you'll finish it. Keep in mind that Da Vinci rarely finished anything. Maybe you don't struggle with finishing like I did (and do) but it's the same thing, keep at it. Someone said (I don't remember who) that books aren't written, they're rewritten.
