For me writing is a process. First I need to figure out what I want to say. Then I try and think of metaphors that allow me to creatively convey my thoughts. Why metaphors? Because if you can create a way that connects with the reader, than they can better relate to the message that I’m trying convey. After a bit, the story flows and begins to have a life of its own.
