Danielle Tremblay It's not a person. It's a cudgel, a club or a bat. I looked for it in Google translation and this stupid thing gave me the same world in English. So I thought that it was a frenchism just like "deja vu", "cliché", "femme fatale" and many others. The strange thing is that if I look for the translation of "gourdin", now Google gives me "cudgel".
Sorry, maybe my list of "G" words begin to thin. ;)
