How do you get inspired to write?

Ivona Walker I can't say that I have one way to get inspired to write. Sometimes, I'll see something from a beautiful sunset to a leftover fruit snack under one of the kid's booster seats, and it'll just flip a switch for me and get me going. Other times, especially when I am struggling to get going again, I will allow myself to relax and read something from one of my favorite authors, and seeing the finished product and knowing the work it took to get there will get me going again.
