Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Mike Suarez It started as a gift for my son, to recap his first year of managing his Type 1 Diabetes in a way that would make him feel proud, while also reminding him of the fun times he had along the way. While it started with my son in mind, the project grew into something that I felt could be helpful to other children and families that would either relate to Andrew's story or want to learn more about the condition through his story.
