Goodreads asked Cinnamon Worth:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Cinnamon Worth Cry and tear out my hair. Wait... no... that was in the past. Through 2018, my method of writing was to sit down, without much of a plan, and type whatever came into my head. I would post my chapters publically as I went to see if they were winners or losers. This was not the best strategy.

In 2019, I have been reading all sorts of books on writing, and I’ve discovered everything I am doing wrong. Here is what I need to start to do: I need to first create an outline. If I know what I plan to write before sitting down, it will help me from freezing. I should try to find a place and time free from distractions. If I have both these things but cannot write, I should ask myself if the scene just isn’t very interesting. I’ve also discovered books that discuss what an author should include in their outlines. It looks as though I need to give more thought to my writing.
