How do you get inspired to write?

Catherine Townsend-Lyon I'm inspired by many other people in recovery. I will celebrate 8yrs in my own recovery on Jan 29th, 2015, but listening, and reading other recovery books and stories always inspires me to continue to write more books. My next book will be out early winter! So keep coming by to visit me here on Goodreads.

My book titled; Addicted To Dimes was inspired by a sad story I read about in my local newspaper. It's also how I open my book, why I needed to share my personal story of gambling addiction and alcohol abuse. Reading about this woman who committed SUICIDE in her casino hotel room, tears came to my eyes. All I can is I knew and felt her same PAIN in my life from addicted gambling. And I to had attempted suicide, not once but TWICE ...
