Absolutely loved Dracul! I have to ask: Did Dacre Stoker write any of it? His other book is terrible. My book club thinks the publisher put his name on this because they thought it would help sell copies but he probably didn't write any of it.

While the press seems keen to put the Stoker name front and center in stories (which can be misleading), Dacre and I have been very clear in interviews and appearances as to who did what. Not only did Dacre provide access to Bram's research material, but he proved to be an invaluable source of information on all things related to the Stoker family and Bram's tale. With Dacre as a sounding board through the entire process, I wrote the bulk of the book.
Any time you have two writers in a room, it's best to find each others strengths and focus efforts based on those strengths. Because we each brought different skills to the table, we fell into a very comfortable working rhythm.
I believe the publisher elected to put Dacre's name first on the cover to ensure it was shelved near Bram's work in brick & mortar stores, which makes sense. For the most part, the ebooks list me first in an attempt to find some balance.

I was asking around for a good book and someone suggested The Fourth Monkey. I burned through it, Fifth To Die, and Sixth Wicked Child. I love everything. I didn’t sleep for days. It’s a joy to read such writing. I really want to know about that Porter scene. Then I read Forsaken and you broke my heart into bits. Why? There isn’t a book two and I have to know what happens to R&A. And Leland appearing? Genius!

After JK Rowlings wrote her non-Harry Potter books under a pseudonym some professor figured out she was the real author. With your ability to mimic the style of authors and "hear" their voice do you think you could fool the pros if, say, you finished Austen's Sanditon or Dicken's Mystery of Edwin Drood & claim it was their lost works?
