How do you get inspired to write?

Sean K. Vlk Ideas come and go throughout the course of each day. I always have a notebook and pen by my side. As for actual writing is concerned, I take the time to sit down in my most comfortable chair, put on some music, and crack open my laptop and just write. Sometimes it's great. Sometimes it's not. The important thing is to write it. Always have the brain flowing with ideas. Sometimes mistakes lead to possibilities you had yet to consider previously. Penning a strong outline is always effective, however, sometimes deviation can be wonderful for a plot line; depending on the circumstances that is. Overall, to answer the question simply, I force myself into inspiration.
