What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Tim Jeffreys Despite what some people might have you believe, you don't need anyone's permission to write, and you don't need anyone's permission to publish a book or submit a story to a magazine. Don't let rejection stop you. Keep at it. Keep getting better. Create your own stories. Create your own worlds. Do it for yourself first and foremost. But don't be half-arsed about it. When you put something out into the world, make sure it's the best you can make it.
