What inspired you to write 'Here Comes Mr Herribone?'

Tim Jeffreys Hi Avery. Thank you for the question. I've just noticed this - better late than never! Here Comes Mr Herribone was inspired by a documentary I watched called 'Being Frank', which is about a British comedian called Chris Sievey who invented an alter ego, Frank Sidebottom for whom he was better known. Chris chased fame and success in various ways until he invented Frank Sidebottom. It was Frank who became famous and successful, not Chris which seemed (to my mind) to eat Chris up. I thought there was something tragic in this idea.
