Goodreads asked Zach MacDonald:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Zach MacDonald When writer's block strikes, I'll typically put the actual new writing on hold and go back to review/re-read, and subsequently edit, earlier portions of that work or other pieces. Often that process will warm me up and give me the boost I need to start putting new words down, plus it keeps you productive and making progress on your written projects as a whole.
