Betty asked T.A. Williams:

This isn't much of a question but just to let you know that whenever I am feeling lonely or bored (which is often during this pandemic), I look for one of your great romances in either Italy or France. Where is your favorite place for romance?

T.A. Williams Hi Betty. It's really nice of you to take the time to contact me. As far as romance is concerned, the place is really far less important than the person but there are, I have to admit, a few places that do definitely lend themselves to romance. I suppose my number one would probably be Venice. There is something about the place – as well as romance, there is history, culture, tradition and just the sheer outstanding beauty of it. As far as my own personal experience of romance is concerned, I met my wife in the classroom (before you write to the authorities, I should point out that I was teaching adults in an evening class) so maybe a classroom should be added to the list after Venice.
Thanks again for getting in touch and I am delighted you like my work. Trevor
