How do you get inspired to write?

Lela Lee I prefer to write when the impetus for a writing project is organic. It has to be something that I want to spend a lot of time thinking about. Then I break that bigger project down into bite size tasks. I write best in the morning with coffee, so I usually wake up around 6am and write for at least an hour. Some days it's more, and some days it just an hour. When it comes to drawing a weekly comic, I just force myself to do it.
