How do you get inspired to write?

Kaia Preus I don't always get inspired to write! Sometimes it's really difficult for me to sit down and write and I don't write every day. I usually find inspiration from other art––namely music. Sometimes, I'll be listening to a song––a pop song, a classical song, a rap song, whatever––and an urge to create will come over me. When I engage with work by other artists, it makes me want to create art, too.
