Goodreads asked Roger Maxson:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Roger Maxson Writer's block, I think, is like bipolar, high and low, ebb and flow. I have dealt more with writer's block than writing. I don't push it, but one thing that might help, though. Go ahead and sit down when you're tired and not in the mood and see what happens. Write a page and call it a night. I spent 13 years writing wonderful notes, experiencing trepidation, and the fear of failure as I wrote for nine years. The rest of it is life, day jobs, divorce, the everyday.
