I've been writing so long (and I'm so old) that I started out with Microsoft Works. I still mostly use Word and/or Google Docs. I've tried Scrivener, and I've used Campfire a little bit, and I like both, but they are more complicated than I really need. When outlining (mine actually look more like flowcharts), I still use pen and paper. I find that faster, both to write and reference, than trying to input stuff into computer apps.
