Don't expect to get rich by writing books. Just because you write it, doesn't mean others will buy it. Once you start checking into royalties, printing fees, marketing, etc, you'll be surprised how little is left unless you sell thousands of books. But that doesn't mean you shouldn't write your book. Write because that's what you like doing and feel inspired in doing it.
