How do you get inspired to write?

Gary Richardson Inspiration can come at any time from anything. Some days just feel too tired or distracted to write and other days there's nothing I want more than to write. I always keep my phone or tablet nearby so that if inspiration hits that I can either write or at a minimum make notes about what ideas are in my head for when I can more fully explore them. But there is not one thing or one method that I follow to inspire or motivate me. Writing is a passion and I think passion comes naturally. To force it or expect it takes away from what that natural passion brings to the creative process.
