Goodreads asked Eula McGrevey:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Eula McGrevey When I can't figure out what to write, or when I'm writing and it just doesn't flow the way I want, I stop. I walk away and I don't think about it.
I will wait and let it come to me-- it could be a few days, but at some point an idea randomly floats into my head. May be in the middle of my sleep. Could be when I 'm driving. I may be watching TV, listening to the radio, but something hits me and at times the thought can trigger an entire chapter or plot line! I jot down a few phrases to remind me and then the next time I sit down to write, I have the framework.
