Aside from working in my pyjamas - it's just very satisfying. I love reading - always have - and I love words. Finding the write words to tell a story can be hard work, but when you get it right, it is a wonderful feeling. I try to make every word the absolutely perfect choice, and agonise over the flow of my work, until I love the end result.
