Goodreads asked Michael Christopher Carter:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Michael Christopher Carter I fortunately have not suffered from writers block. I always find that everything flows very naturally when writing, probably due to my practice of thoroughly mapping out the book beforehand. I begin with writing rough notes and then develop the story completely in note form. I then map out approximate chapters, although this has to be flexible as ideas do come to me whilst writing. It feels like the story is finished before I begin and just needs me to colour it in.
When finished and edited I eagerly begin the next story, and I have many more book ideas than I possibly have time to write them all!
