Eva Trieger
Eva Trieger asked K.C. Murphy:

Greetings, K.C., I'm an ed therapist working with a little boy who is an emergent reader. I am looking for books that have higher interest content with few words. I found one he loved, a Brian Szelnick. Baby Monkey, Private Eye was a great pick. Any thoughts about other authors or books that may be similar? Thanks!

K.C. Murphy Hello Eva, I'm sorry for my delay in replying.
Oxford Reading Tree: Level 1 is a brilliant series for emergent readers, as their stories concentrate on phonics and first sentences.
Obviously, I'd love to recommend my Mouse Adventures series too, which is suitable for readers aged 0-7 years. I write in an easy to understand rhyming format, perfect for reading aloud to the little boy you're working with.
Thank you for your question and please feel free to reach out again and I promise to reply sooner next time:) x
