The Henna Artist circulated well in our library and we also had take and make henna tattoo kits and it was a success. We love Alka and would love to have a perfume making class to promote the sequel. Is Alka available to do a zoom author visit to make this event a highlight to our year?

Dear Visalia,
I’m just reading now! And if you’re still up for a perfume making class and a talk about The Perfumist of Paris, I’m your gal! I did this recently in Hayward for their library and everyone loved it. It’s such a personal experience, learning what scents identify you. I learned so much about fragrances writing this novel and I’m delighted to share it with my readers :-)

I CANNOT wait!!! So I do have another question... I thought about this while getting up this morning and having a major migraine while getting ready for work.. Those lotions and such that can help with ailments.. Where can I get those??? I have a friend who sells those essential oils and they really did not work.. But reading this story about alternative medicine was soooooooo interesting!!! Do they really exist?

Why didn't you include a sketch about what Henna art is? I didn't know what it was until I looked it up on line. You said at the South County library in Estero, Florida that you were an Empath. That actually means you are a highly sensitive person and there is a book by that name. I'm also highly sensitive. Basically we are born that way. You speech presentation was very good. Thanks for coming. I got your book.

I was SO excited to see the Perfumist of Paris! It may be my favorite so far. Thank you SO MUCH for the huge gift in allowing us to live inside their lives. It moved me deeply to witness your treatment of Hari. It seems easy to find villains in the world, and much more difficult for the villains to be redeemed. I hope you have plans for many more stories for these characters. What comes next?
