I just wanted to say that the world-building in Kings of Paradise seemed effortlessly entwined into the character's stories. I loved how we learn about the world, its politics, and its customs WITH the characters from multiple different points of view. I'm looking forward to reading more in the next book soon! Is this series just going to be a trilogy or do you plan on expanding this universe further?

Richard Nell Appreciate the kind words. The universe has already expanded! With a book called Dark Sea's End, which is the first in what will be another trilogy in the same world. You'll see some new faces, and some familiar ones...

What prompted the pivot from epic fantasy to harem litRPG (as Pierce Grey)? Is it more fun to write? More lucrative at the moment? I just inhaled Kings of Paradise and will definitely read The First Great Game also.
