What prompted the pivot from epic fantasy to harem litRPG (as Pierce Grey)? Is it more fun to write? More lucrative at the moment? I just inhaled Kings of Paradise and will definitely read The First Great Game also.

Yes and yes. There's actually a lot of hungry harem readers currently hoovering up books in the genre. With epic fantasy you spend a lot of time kind of begging people to read your book. Sorry 'marketing'. And I hate that. A lot. Anyway, a change is as good as a break, they say. Which sounds a little like horseshit but anything to trick myself into working.

I just finished the audio version of "Kings of Paradise", and I I really enjoyed it. Best "read" of 2020 for me! (Thanks to Mikes book review on youtube for the recommendation). As a visually impaired "reader", I have to ask if there are any plans for audio versions for the rest of the series? I'm really chomping at the bit to know what happens.

Up there. Sorry that wasn't really a question, I just really thought you deserved my admiration. My question was 'Is Ruka ispired by two of my all time favourite characters in fantasy? As although he is an enthralling, complex character himself, he almost seems like a cross breed of a certain K....s and C...r. Taking nothing away from him, he is my favourite new literary character. My fantasy saviour
