Sone cousins had done a lot of research on my grandfather's life. Then, I organized a reunion at the farm where he retired to - all surviving cousins attended, from Maine, Texas, Alaska, NJ, MN, VA, MA, and PA. We strolled around the farm all day. At the end of that day, I knew that I needed to write this story.
