What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Scott Macmann I'll change this to "What's the best thing about writing?" because I'm a bit suspicious of my own ego getting to full of itself at the notion of being a "writer". With that said I think the best thing about it is the creative process itself. To me writing is about taking "What I did on my summer vacation" and wrapping it in context and meaning and stucture. Or at least trying to do that. The result is greater than the sum of its parts. Hopefully.
