How do you get inspired to write?

Lisa Lee Curtis I am inspired to write when I read, whether it be novels or nonfiction or news stories. And the inspiration might not have one single thing to do the subject of any reading material, but it will kick something loose in my brain that reminds me of something entirely different that pertains to what I'm either currently working on or INTENDING to work on. Which is both great and note because it's very hard to stay focused on a reading project when I'm putting it down to write notes so that I don't forget them. LOL
