Influenced by Roger Zelazny and Chandler, Hammett. I can tell!!! Great influences, sir. I read This Immortal, Lord of Light, Creatures of Light and Darkness, etc. a few years after they were published. It really set the bar high for subsequent SF/F. I believe Zelazny would have greatly enjoyed your Alex Southerland books. Do you plan to write more than 7 books in this series?

My plan is to end the Southerland series with the 7th book and start a new series set in the same world featuring a new lead character: Benedict Shade (Shade the Collector). The first book in the new series will include Alexander Southerland as a secondary character.
