I wish I knew this answer. I can't recall a triggering event but when the premise of time being stolen from unsuspecting people first hit me, I couldn't stop wondering how it happened and how it would work itself out. Most of it came to me in a "download" that occurred over a short time, followed by months of tinkering and reworking.
