What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Brenda Corey Dunne If you want to make writing your profession, you have to be professional. Expect rejection, and don't give up when it comes. Edit, edit, edit...and then edit some more. Make sure your work is seen by many sets of external eyes before you even think about submitting it to agents or editors. They have very little time to spend on each manuscript submitted so the tiniest little mistake can throw them off. And above all, believe in yourself. In the end, you have to be happy that you tried your best. And if this manuscript doesn't get published, maybe the next one will. Or the next one...
