As to the doggies, we lost our little dog, Inky Dinky, after 17 years and cannot bear to lose another, so I understand! Have you ever visited Palm Springs, California? There is a shop called "Grace" named after the chocolate lab, Grace. She is sweet

Hi Jennifer. No, I'm afraid I've never had the opportunity to visit California. I've seen enough views of it on TV to be sure that it's a lovely place. Yes, naming a shop after a dog strikes me as immensely sensible. I'm delighted you've been enjoying my work. To be honest, I think it's quite therapeutic for me as well to remind me of so many beautiful places I have visited over my life. Thanks again and look after yourself.

Thank you, thank you, in these times of no travel I have just read Dreaming of Florence. I felt like I was walking in Debbies shoes, up that hill and into the Rose garden, just like I did in 2019. Most spectacular view over Florence. Will I enjoy your other Books? I'm sure I will. Linda (NZ)
