Inspirations. I guess the main inspiration is escape. You spend a long day dealing with very real matters, it's nice to be able to disappear into another world and help guide it into an existence of sorts. For inspirations outside of me, there's a couple. Coffee is good (understatement). In the AM I find writing over that first cup can be very productive. In the evening sometimes two fingers of good Kentucky bourbon can be inspiring, though anything past that is usually counter-productive.
