Goodreads asked David Warner:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

David Warner Ha! Well, that is a funny question, given that this book took ten years to actually commit to paper because I had writer's block of epic proportions. For me, I keep it simple. When the writing becomes too mechanical, I stop, grab a glass of wine and shift gears for a bit until I am ready to come back to it. The best advice I can give is to not let it bog you down. Everyone experiences writer's block from time to time. I think it's our mind's way of telling us we're shutting down until we come up with something good.
