Well, that is a funny question, given that this book took ten years to actually commit to paper because I had writer's block of epic proportions. For me, I keep it simple. When the writing becomes too mechanical, I stop, grab a glass of wine and shift gears for a bit until I am ready to come back to it. The best advice I can give is to not let it bog you down. While this is scary, the neat thing is the connection that people feel like they have with you. You have walked them around your life, and they have observed these scenes as you have told them. It is very powerful.
