Hello Mr. Riordan! I am a big fan of your books, especially the Percy Jackson series, and I wanted to ask you some questions, if you have the time to answer them. Re. negative feedback, I'm only human, and I criticism is tough to deal with for all of us, I think, but another writer told me something once that helped a lot: It's a GOOD thing that we all have different opinions about books. If 100% of people like the same kind of book, then that's the only kind of book that would ever get written. How boring would that be? Diverse opinions means there's a diverse market for many different kinds of stories. If people don't like my books, that's okay. There are so many other great authors and great books out there. It's a big buffet of literature, and you don't have to like everything that is being served! (re. Star Wars, idk. I really like the kids in Skeleton Crew. I can imagine them doing very well at Camp Half-Blood.)

So, this is probably a weird question, but three series with five books each, two trilogies, several short stories, a standalone and two more books on the way, do you ever feel like you have run out of ideas? Like, after being done with a book, have you ever felt like your well of inspiration has finally drained? If yes, how do you get your inspiration back? Also, I'm a BIGGG fan!!!!

I recently discovered another author who does mythology series along with some other series, but this author rips off other people's works, how do you feel when you see works that are clearly rip offs of your own works? I'm an artist myself and I do see people stealing my art.

Hi!? I'm very curious on how and why the title for "The Sun and The Star" was picked! I've always wondered how the process of picking a title for a book works. (Also, i was reading this to my younger sisters and they kept telling me, "tHe sUn Is A sTaR.") ((i just realized this came off as a bit criticizing, sorry about that, i didn't mean it that way!))
