How do you get inspired to write?

Kathy Martin Unusual people and places inspire me. I love uncovering quirky little stories whenever I visit different towns, cities and countries. Sometimes they are stories about real people, sometimes they are folklore. I don't make a conscious effort to remember these things but often I find that quirky little things have lodged in my memory. When that happens, there's a good chance I'll weave them into a story one day.
