Writer's block, IMHO, is a myth, an excuse to procrastinate. As a professional journalist, I did not have the luxury of "writer's block." I had deadlines to meet, so I sat down and wrote, whether I felt like or not. The key is putting words down, even if it makes no sense at first. Patterns emerge and you mold it into something others can comprehend.
