How do you get inspired to write?

Judy Phillips I got a typewriter for a Christmas gift when I was nine years old. In those days, teachers didn't allow daily free expression of ideas during school days. We worked on grammar, parts of speech and editing mostly. I'd race home to that typewriter and wrote until the ink ran dry on the ribbon. I've always enjoyed writing since that day, even technical writing and editing. These days, I blog and write fiction for children.
