Have you always been interested in historical fiction and fantasy? Do you prefer one over the other?

D.S. Taylor I've always loved fantasy since I first read Lord of the Rings when I was a kid. I actually feel that a fantasy/historical fiction blend is the oldest form of writing in existence ... the Iliad, Gilgamesh etc. Great stories inspired, but not bound by history.
