Goodreads asked Matt Cary Williams:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Matt Cary Williams I don't tend to get writer's block. But my advice would be to start a 'random writer's entry pad; every time you can't write, go to your entry pad and add to what you started; don't think, just write. Once back in the swing of things, your brain bubbling nicely, the ideas you were looking for will come naturally. Over thinking is a dangerous thing.
