Alan Hamilton
Alan Hamilton asked Susan Appleyard:

I'm writing a novel with almost the identical title to your book. Mine is 'This Son of York'. I hope you won't feel aggrieved! It's an alternative history: what if Richard III won at Bosworth and how would his reign have turned out? There'll be two books. The title of the second: 'In a Foreign Field'. Progress is slow because the day job (I'm a publisher's editor) gets in the way. I've put your book 'down to read'.

Susan Appleyard Hello, Alan. So sorry it took me so long to answer your question. I won't bore you with the details of why. I don't feel at all aggrieved. The more the merrier. The War of the Roses seems to be a particularly popular period.
I envy you. You've already got a leg up in the publishing industry. Best of luck with the books.
