Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Elliott Foster Whispering Pines started as a series of journal entries about my own family's multi-generation experience at a rustic northern Minnesota cabin. I initially decided to record that family history and collection of humorous tales jsut for ourselvers. But once I interviewed people more in-depth, the storeis slowly became embellished and ultimately a novel was born.
