What are you currently working on?

Lisa M. Prysock I'm currently writing a pre-Civil War Era Christian Romance with a Kentucky setting, "Protecting Miss Jenna: Dream Wildly Unafraid." As a Kentucky author, I can't overlook the opportunity to research and write about the issues of that day with all of this history right here all around me. The tension in this state was really building during this time period. Kentucky had it all going on! They had slaves, abolitionists and slave owners all living right here. Slave auctions in Lexington and Louisville were common. Many escaped across the Ohio River, calling it their Jordan crossing.

It is no surprise that a Kentuckian known as Abraham Lincoln left us such an incredible legacy in the plight and struggle of the suffering. I'm excited to let readers know that "Protecting Miss Jenna" is available for pre-order right now (my first pre-order) at Amazon and launches November 21, 2015! Readers will love the excitement of all of this tension as they sink their teeth into this rich historical romance meant to inspire and delight readers.
